Escadaria do Beco da Malagrida ganha nova pintura pelas mãos de artistas do Coletivo Crew’Olinas

A escadaria do Beco da Malagrida, no Centro de João Pessoa, está ganhando novas cores. Com o apoio e incentivo da Prefeitura da Capital, através da sua Fundação Cultural (Funjope), um grupo de grafiteiros está fazendo uma intervenção cultural na famosa escadaria, na lateral da antiga Faculdade de Direito. Com artes abstratas expressas em cores vibrantes, o objetivo é buscar restaurar o espaço e proporcionar uma experiência diferente para quem visita o local.
A ação partiu do Coletivo Crew’Olinas, que doou esse trabalho à prefeitura num gesto espontâneo. “Esse trabalho que estamos fazendo faz parte de um projeto artístico e estético que temos para a cidade de João Pessoa. A Funjope, este ano, recuperou, no ponto de vista das atividades visuais e das culturas, espaços muito importantes na cidade”, ressaltou o diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves.
A Prefeitura de João Pessoa incentivou a pintura com diversos artistas brasileiros. Na orla, por exemplo, a arte nos tapumes que cobriam as obras da calçadinha envolveu 16 artistas. No Trevo das Mangabeiras, a arte colorida deixa a cidade mais alegre. Foram entregues intervenções artísticas na Galeria Augusto dos Anjos, no Centro da cidade, assim como na ladeira do Hotel Globo e na Praça do Carro Antigo. A ação é parte de um projeto da gestão para garantir vida ao Centro Histórico, dando visibilidade ao local e atraindo a população para visitá-lo.
“A arte da grafitagem é para estar sempre recuperada, refeita. É uma renovação permanente dos espaços urbanos. É muito significativo que o coletivo Crew’Olinas tenha se proposto a nos ajudar nesse projeto. Nós temos mais um espaço recuperado com identidade visual e com alegria dos artistas e da arte de João Pessoa”, disse.
Crew’Olinas – O coletivo é um grupo de grafitti referência em desenvolvimento de murais e no incentivo à educação por meio da arte urbana na Paraíba. Kalyne Lima, grafiteira, produtora cultural e jornalista, conta que a ideia da intervenção no Beco da Malagrida surgiu após a participação do grupo no Festival do Concreto, no Ceará. Junto com ela, compõem o coletivo Elizabeth Carneiro, Patrícia Oliveira, Amadeus Coisethal e Morgana Tomas.
“A nossa cidade ama arte. A interação das pessoas com o nosso trabalho é muito grande. Não passamos um minuto sem ser abordadas com elogios e até agrados. Ganhamos água, suco, lanches, as pessoas agem como se quisessem retribuir o que estamos dando a elas com a nossa pintura e isso é muito gratificante”, conta Kalyne Lima.
A aposentada Deodata Silva passou pelo local e aprovou a obra que está sendo feita nos degraus da escadaria. “Estou encantada. Tem um bom tempo que estou parada aqui vendo o trabalho dessas meninas e achando lindo cada detalhe. A cidade precisa disso, desse colorido em todo canto. Isso traz vida. Eu amei”, destacou.
