Funjope abre na sexta-feira exposição Multiplicidade Poética no Hotel Globo

O Hotel Globo abre suas portas, a partir das 16h desta sexta-feira (16), para a exposição Multiplicidade Poética que envolve os artistas visuais Davi Queiroz, Denise Costa e Wilson Figueiredo. Os três têm um histórico importante nas artes visuais de João Pessoa. A mostra, realizada pela Fundação Cultural de João Pessoa (Funjope), pode ser visitada até 30 de janeiro.

“Essa exposição é muito especial para a Funjope porque conseguimos integrar três importantes artistas do nosso cenário das artes visuais de João Pessoa e da Paraíba”, destaca o diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves.

Ele ressalta que cada um tem uma história própria, produz uma obra com dignidade, um diálogo constante com a cidade de João Pessoa e uma presença marcante. Para o diretor, isso engrandece o Hotel Globo, sobretudo no final do ano, quando há uma alta visitação do público. “Queremos ofertar a quem visitar o Hotel uma exposição de qualidade, e Wilson, Denise e Davi são representantes das nossas artes, que conseguem trazer essa qualidade. Nós agradecemos muito”, acrescenta.

Obras – O trabalho da premiada artista Denise Costa se aproxima da Arte Naiff. Sua obra remete ao primitivismo do ser, às identidades, com um colorido muito bonito e movimento, trazendo a ideia da multiplicidade, da repetição, valorizando a temática feminina.

Wilson Figueiredo, artista que empresta seu nome a diversas obras públicas na cidade, entre esculturas e telas, traz um diferencial em seu trabalho, que tem como base o arame com incontáveis formas que projetam na tela um jogo de sombra e luz e que dá uma dimensão diferenciada para suas criações. Figueiredo tem dado uma contribuição efetiva à cultura de João Pessoa, inclusive remontando às brincadeiras da infância no Sertão.

Já o artista visual Davi Queiroz, conforme descreve Marcus Alves, apresenta esculturas, desenhos e pinturas com múltiplas cores, tendo como base a procura das identidades locais, que é uma característica comum aos três artistas. “Sua ideia está centrada na busca pelas identidades”, completou.
