Semob-JP e parceiros iniciam Operação Verão de Paz no Trânsito para garantir mais segurança viária na Região Metropolitana

A Superintendência Executiva de Mobilidade Urbana de João Pessoa (Semob-JP) e vários órgãos de segurança parceiros iniciaram, nesta sexta-feira (6), a Operação Verão de Paz no Trânsito, com o objetivo de garantir a segurança viária durante todo o mês de janeiro, período em que a Capital e cidades litorâneas da Região Metropolitana recebem muitos turistas, aumentando consideravelmente o tráfego de veículos e pedestres nas vias que margeiam as nossas praias.
A Semob-JP, em parceria com a Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF), Batalhão de Policiamento de Trânsito (BPTran), Departamento de Estradas de Rodagem (DER), Departamento Estadual de Trânsito (Detran) e órgãos municipais de trânsito de cidades da Região Metropolitana, realizarão comandos educativos e de fiscalização itinerantes nas vias litorâneas, para que durante todo o mês de janeiro, tanto a população residente quanto os turistas, tenham um trânsito mais seguro neste verão.
O Superintendente da Semob-JP, Expedito Filho, falou sobre a importância da Operação Verão de Paz no Trânsito. “É o nosso compromisso de garantir mais segurança viária para as pessoas que passam o verão na cidade. A parceria com outros órgãos de segurança reforça ainda mais esse trabalho. Faremos ações educativas com os condutores, mas também iremos fiscalizar, porque assim as pessoas vão ter um verão tranquilo em João Pessoa e cidades litorâneas próximas”, destacou Expedito Filho.
