Caravana do Cuidar realiza 256 atendimentos no bairro de Mangabeira

Moradores do bairro Mangabeira I receberam, nesta sexta-feira (2), os serviços da Caravana do Cuidar. O projeto itinerante é promovido pela Prefeitura de João Pessoa, por meio da Secretaria de Direitos Humanos e Cidadania (Sedhuc), e oferta serviços de assistência social, saúde, empregabilidade, cultura, embelezamento e direito do consumidor. Ao todo, foram realizados 256 atendimentos.
A ação desta sexta foi realizada em parceria com o Instituto Integrado de Desenvolvimento pela Vida que desenvolve atividades para os diferentes tipos de público, como oficinas de capoeira e judô para crianças, artesanato para mulheres e oficinas de dança para os idosos, além do vínculo com o Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (Cras) do bairro, porta de entrada para os serviços da prefeitura.
O secretário de Direitos Humanos e Cidadania da Capital, João Corujinha, esteve no local e reforçou o objetivo do evento. “Eu já acompanho o grupo há muito tempo e sempre que possível estamos presentes apoiando projetos como esse. O objetivo da Caravana do Cuidar é justamente este, de levar os serviços até a porta da casa das pessoas”, ressaltou.
Dos 256 atendimentos realizados na Caravana do Cuidar, foram realizados 52 no CadÚnico; 13 no Cras; 2 cadastros no Programa Acessuas Trabalho; 12 atendimentos do Procon-JP; 22 registros na Ouvidoria Geral; 06 cadastros no Programa Criança Feliz; 17 aferições de pressão arterial; 12 aplicações de vacinas de Covid-19 e 13 vacinas de rotina; 36 atendimentos médicos; 20 testes rápidos de glicemia; e 17 atendimentos de auriculoterapia.
“Essa ação foi uma grande oportunidade para mim, marquei três exames que já estava precisando marcar há um tempo e estando aqui, na minha rua, corri para aproveitar. Além de que essa ação fortalece o projeto dessa instituição que é tão importante para o bairro”, observou Zuleica Alves, uma das integrantes do grupo de dança do instituto, Idosos em Ação.
