Orquestra Sinfônica abre temporada 2023 com concerto nesta sexta-feira

A série integral das Sinfonias de Ludwing Van Beethoven, interpretada pela Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de João Pessoa (OSMJP), será retomada nesta sexta-feira (3). Abrindo a temporada de concertos em 2023, os músicos apresentam a quinta e mais popular sinfonia do músico. O evento, realizado pela Prefeitura da Capital, por meio da sua Fundação Cultural (Funjope), será no Centro Cultural São Francisco, no Centro Histórico, a partir das 19h.

O diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves, afirma que o Centro Cultural tem sido um ambiente ideal para os ensaios da Orquestra e formação de público. “A parceria que a gente tem com o padre Marcondes Menezes tem sido muito importante para os ensaios da orquestra que, por si só, já atrai o público, valoriza o equipamento cultural e também dá uma tranquilidade e permanência aos músicos”, observa.

Ele acrescenta que os concertos têm sido um sucesso sempre, pela performance profissional e musical dos componentes e, sobretudo, pela estética musical que o grupo tem apresentado. “Essa temporada de 2023 tende a repetir ou melhorar o sucesso do ano passado”, acredita.

Para o maestro Laércio Diniz, a quinta sinfonia de Beethoven revolucionou a história da música, sendo considerada a obra erudita mais popular de todos os tempos, antecedida pela primeira audição mundial de duas obras de compositores brasileiros.

“A quinta sinfonia, na verdade, é um marco na sinfonia de concerto pelo fato de ser a que define praticamente o local de romantismo da música. Ela é uma sinfonia bastante importante para a música ocidental por definir exatamente essa transição. É uma obra genial de Beethoven. Tem a transição do classicismo para o romantismo, por isso vem essa grande importância”, explicou o maestro.

Além da sinfonia nº 5 em Dó menor, a programação conta com uma apresentação do solista Carlos dos Santos, que vai levar para o público a obra de sua autoria ‘Concerto para Vibrafone e Orquestra’. Laureado em diversos concursos de composição, o músico tem obras executadas por importantes orquestras brasileiras. Atualmente, ele é professor de percussão e percepção musical da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB).

As obras ‘Elegia’ e ‘Pablo’, do compositor Vinícius Costa Jaloto, também serão executadas no primeiro concerto da temporada 2023. Através da música, o jovem compositor luso-brasileiro expressa a difícil realidade de muitos que têm as vidas ceifadas por causa das drogas. O músico tem se dedicado à composição para orquestra e voz sobre textos poéticos e dramáticos.
